This painting was done in Temple Texas. These mammoth creations of metal, brick, stone and brick are on of my favorite things to paint. I love all of the remains of hay bales, old rusted parts, barrels and other necessities of the farming and ranching processes. I find them truly beautiful and powerful! Temperature when I started this painting was 38 degrees.
